Elise (I)
A 'Close to my heart' diptych, part one.
Elise carries an SOS pendant 'close to her heart' 24/7, since her infancy. The capsule contains all relevant information first responders need, to provide her with adequate medical care in case her medical condition plays up and she becomes unresponsive. Without it she feels naked and vulnerable. Yet, she took it off and stretches out, firmly grasping the pendant as an SOS call.
Asking for help requires courage; it is a sign of strength.
